SELECTING A REAL ESTATE AGENT

A few items that are important when choosing the right agent for you:
Communication: Does the agent promptly return your texts, phone calls and emails? In this fast-paced market, timing is essential and deals can be lost in a matter of hours.
Trust & Honesty: Do you feel comfortable with your potential agent? Use your instincts; if something feels off, then it probably is.
Knowledge: You should choose an agent that has an extensive amount of knowledge in the area that you're looking.
PREPARE FINANCIAL DOCUMENTS
A lender will ask you for plenty of documents that will assist them in preparing a qualifying letter for you and approving your loan amount. It's a good idea to plan ahead so you're not overwhelmed. Create a Google Doc Folder or DropBox folder of the following documents so you can quickly and easily store and share them with your lender:
Bank Accounts / Statements
Investment Accounts (401K, IRA, Stocks, Bonds, Life Insurance)
Auto Loans
Credit Card Statements
Tax Returns (Usually from the previous two years)
Recent Pay Stubs
